Your initial reaction is probably the Football Team! But hear me out.

Cleveland won 11 games but let up 419 points and actually has a negative point differential. Teams like that generally don’t do well in the playoffs.

Washington is 7-9 but 5-2 in their last 7 and has a pretty good defense. One win over a team with a winning record.

Chicago is 8-8 with only a +2 point differential. I honestly didn’t know these guys were in the playoffs until I checked the standings.

Baker Mayfield is no Eli.

Pretty sure he’s the only QB to win more than one playoff game with a team who gave up more than they scored.

I'll go with Seattle
Seattle is the worst good team and if the Packers and Saints had lost yesterday they'd have been the worst 1 seed in NFL history. They will get smoked by any team with a decent QB.

But they're not worse than WFT or the Rams with no Goff. Probably on par with the Browns or Chicago at the moment.

That said they matchup poorly against the Rams and even if Goff sits I give LA a 40% chance to win.

LA is my sleeper pick.

Maybe if he could get his D line to go berserk then he'd be good to go.

First and so there's no mistake, I don't expect the Browns to do well in the playoffs because they face the Steelers in their first game. I expect a loss.

However, their negative point differential is because of their first two matchups against the Ravens and Steelers. Both of those games were BLOWOUTS and accounted for -60 in point diff. In the rematches, the Browns' collective point diff was -3.

They beat the Colts and Titians who are combined 22-10.

The Browns played the Steelers' backups in the 2nd game so that's not really meaningful in any way. They let up 47 points to the Ravens in the 2nd matchup. And I really don't know how good the Ravens or Steelers even are. The Steelers lost to the Football Team. The Titans are a deeply flawed defensive team with a pretty horrible defense. I thought they'd be pretty good this year but they disappointed big time.

So the Browns have 3 wins against teams with winning records - the Colts (their best win), the Titans (a team they got up early on 38-7 and then actually let close that gap, which Tennessee isn't really built for), and the 2nd string Steelers (doesn't really count).

I'm not sold on the Browns at all. If these three teams were to face off against each other, I'd probably have Washington ranked as the most likely to win.

If you're saying they have two solid wins against teams with winning records, I'm on board. I don't really count the Steelers win either.

However, it looks like you're trying to diminish their win over the Titans due to the manner in which they won in order to prop up your point. They won. That's all.

The steelers looked mostly awful down the stretch. I wouldn't be the slightest but surprised if Cleveland wins.
