With all due respect, I don't think you follow recruiting if you think in any way UF out-recruited UGA in any possible metric that actually matters. And average stars is not one that matters.

Has On3 replaced 247 as the preferred spot amongst the masses? I’m still a 247 guy but On3 is being brought up almost as much as them now

I missed it -- how many national titles does Oregon have? They must have a couple of them as they've been pulling in quality recruiting classes for 20+ years.
And you should use your logic and throw a fortune on Michigan or TCU to win the national title. Michigan is 3-1 and TCU is 17-1. How about this -- I will give you OSU, Michigan and TCU. I will take Georgia. We can do a lifetime avy bet. If anyone other than Georgia wins the national title -- you win. If Georgia wins the title -- I win. I have a GREAT AVY for you.

The 247 composite is still the most mature, but On3 will replace it once its network gets bigger, uness 247 adds On3 as a fourth source. Candidly, whichever one of them drops ESPN will immediately become better than the other. I am more of a Rivals guy, but their eval’s this year I thought were way off when compared to the composite.

Me? No not at all. All I did was give you the results of one of the most reliable recruiting websites. You disagree with the experts, and that's fine. Maybe they are all wrong. Congrats on that extra 3-star recruit I guess?

Recruiting rankings really don’t matter as much as people like NewPhoneWhoDis think they do.
RB Josh Jacobs was only a 3-star. Otoh, D’Wan Mathis was a 5-star.

He doesn’t follow recruiting - that’s a compliment - so he doesn’t understand how rankings work. UF was not third … they were 12th.
As for the rankings, obviously upsets happen. But the higher recruiting teams win far more often because they are more talented.
Michigan is doing very well in the transfer portal so far.
I know this because I follow recruiting - that’s not a compliment - and am a loser.

You are confusing star averages and point totals. The later is obviously used for the rankings. Rivals has UGA 2nd, UF 12th, with an 800 point gap. I don’t disagree with the experts as they go by point totals not star average.
I’d be glad to explain where your misunderstanding is … star averages are meaningless. Using Rivals scoring system, only the top 20 recruits are counted. The highest 4* is Reuben Owens, the 27th best player. The lowest 4* is Kyle Parker and he is the 250th best player. When you look at the star average, they are both worth 4 points. Yet they are obviously not close to being equal. In their rankings the 27th ranked player is worth 187 points, while the 250th is worth 106. Having highly ranked 4* is better than having low ranked 4*.
So, when you look at point totals, not star averages, UGA has 3141 points while UF has 2381 points. This because UGA has two 5*, UF doesn’t have any, and UGA’s 4* are ranked way higher than UF’s.
Averages are helpful earlier in the process when teams have way fewer than 20 recruits. It balances out the quantity v. Quality disparity. But, as soon as teams get over 20 recruits, they become meaningless. 247 has a points average that’s actually useful all year. Unfortunately, you can’t sort by it.
