Luckily no. But I remember tearing avocado appliances out of my first house to update with stainless. Along with ditching all the brass fixtures and door handles with nickel or brushed stainless.

My wife and I had all brass installed - hinges, door knobs, handles, light fixtures, the works when it was in style. I wished I would have went with the nickel but my kid tells me that brass is making a comeback so perhaps there is hope.

I remember fishing with my grandfather and he would pack that cooler with about 8 bottles of Blatz and 2 bottles of Coke for me.

Yeah Brass is coming back. I don't get it, but everything is cyclical. I'm sure carpet will be all the rage soon and here I am with hardwoods throughout.

Speaking of thinkin you're living in the future - I remember playing with this thing on a Christmas Morning with my brother and thinking it was the shit. I vividly remember also watching MTV that morning, praying for them to play The Police's Synchronicity II.
