I'm guessing that's not far from the truth. Some guy in Shanghai gets an AI algorithm to produce 30 hat designs with superimposed logos. He sends it onto factories in Bangladesh to produce 40,000 each and they're on the website 24 hours later. You think there's a human in charge of quality control?

If it's made it as far as people being able to purchase it off the website, then the QC window has already occurred. The Oakland A's ASS hats exist in the real world because people were buying them.
