I think that would give Charles an even bigger advantage. Jackson's career was cut short and he didn't stay in the spotlight when he was done playing. Charles on the other hand is outspoken and very popular nationally as well as in Alabama.

Being a divided college state, most beloved may also be most hated. Until the whole scandal ordeal, I would have said it was a toss up between Deshaun and like Marcus Lattimore/Connor Shaw. Its a state school and theres a lot of dipshits here, so I'm probably going with Connor Shaw/Marcus Lattimore.

Most beloved Clemson player at this point for sure. But not in the state. Scar is the bigger school and bigger fanbase. Even with Clemson going on the run, the fanbase split is probably 70/30 or 60/40 in favor of scar.
