At this level of transformation it’s clearly some strong level of childhood trauma that led them to the basic “I hate who I see in the mirror” dysmorphia.

And then they see they can change what they see in the mirror and it becomes a compulsion.

I don’t care if they truly feel better after all this or not...this is extreme and not a better substitute to solid therapy for that trauma.

This. Guys in their teens/20's it's all about getting laid.

Even if people think it isn't, it is. Playing sports, learning 3 chords and forming a band, you may think it's about having fun or hopefully getting famous, but at the end of the day it's about getting laid.

Dude looks like a weridass but I guarantee you at the end of the day he thinks it's edgy but deep down he did it to get laid.
