NFL WEEKLY GAME THREAD Wild Card Weekend

While true, 50% of the league is this way and the other 50% wants to be
Yeah but it feels like there is no end in sight for this. It’s almost like when Andy Reid left Philly, while on paper it seemed crazy to part ways, it was just time for a change and I’d argue it worked out for both parties. That’s where I think Pittsburgh is.

He’s a good coach no doubt. But Pittsburgh doesn’t have a playoff win in 9 years. There’s a good argument to be made that being just good enough to be .500 and lose in the first round of the playoffs is worse then being complete garbage and having the draft capital to rebuild. I mean their seasons have been predictable for about a decade now.
I’m a Falcons fan. I just wanna make the playoffs. Sign me up

Can't argue with that. I have always felt that NFL HC's have a shorter shelf life than any of the other mainstream pro leagues. Grown professionals are only going to listen to the same speeches and stories for so long, roster turnovers are quicker, and its easier to hire a coach than it is to replace your QB

Since 1970 the Steelers have have 3 head coaches...three

I know it’s been a few years but Mike Smith always had you guys in and Quinn got you to a Super Bowl and should have won it. It’s not like you are a Jets fan.

I can't think of one member on here who is a Jets fan

Haven’t made the playoffs since 2017. Won exactly 7 games per year every year other than 2020 when the wheels fell off for Quinn and this year when we won 8.

I guess we’re similar to the Steelers in that we’re always just mediocre, except we don’t even get a chance to lose in the playoffs

The Steelers look like a team playing out the string in a meaningless game, not a team that's in the playoffs.

90's Falcons were a fun team to watch. Run and shoot offense, badass uniforms and you had a team with Andre Rison and Deion Sanders and the HC was the bigger showboat

since there's nothing else to watch tonight and this game sucks...

so, my car had a safety recall (fuel pump). took it in around 13 DEC. Got it fixed (they said to make sure it was less than 1/3 of a tank full to get fixed). Filled up the tank the next day, garage smelled like shit for the next few weeks (I figured it was related). It dissipated (after 200 miles), then a light came on "emissions system problem". Took it to a local shop because why take it to the place that fucked it up in the first place. It's better, but now every time I go in the car it smells like gas. It goes away as soon as I start driving, but pretty sure it's still fucked up, just annoyed to be spending so much time and money on a car that has under 20k miles on it. That said, I should probably take it back to the shop, as it's probably still fucked, no?

I’m not going to lie, that 98 season/99 playoffs I badly wanted to see Minnesota and Randy Moss play Denver in the SB and Atlanta beat the. in the NFC champ game.

If it smells like gas when you get in, I’d definitely have it looked at.

What kind of car? My daughter has a Ford Fusion and and her's was doing something similar especially after fueling up. It was an EVP valve. Was a fairly easy fix
