You don’t need Monken. GT is in Atlanta. One of the most talent rich areas of the country. They needed to go back to a style that could bring some of that talent to them. Collins probably wasn’t the right guy, but the move to a pro style attack was absolutely the right call. Chan Gailey proved you can get big time athletes at Tech. Get a coach that can recruit at least at Gailey’s level but is a bit better with the X’s and O’s.

I mention Monken because he is a winner that isn't completely married to the Paul Johnson style offense. He has said before he would change his offense based on the location, but while he is a service academy he is running what he needs to run to win.

I agree GT is I'm prime recruiting location. All it will take is the right coach. Chan brought innenty of talent but seemed unable to develop the QB position and he thoughtb6-7 winsbwas a good season. Collins even recruits OK but he is inept. He doesn't seem to know what he is doing on GameDay. Worst decisions I have ever seen and its the same thing every week, like whatever was broken the previous week, he doesn't bother to address it.
