New tech always seems so cool in the promo, but I'm not sure about this. Every old folks home will want one in the common area to see grandkids n sech, but will every living room have a Portl?

Does it have a porn angle?

If so, buy stock now.

If the University of Florida would have come up with this, the portal would be Tim Tebow's anus.
They have a working version anyway, I suspect.

I'm sure you could draw a picture for them from memory...and describe the taste of blessed ass.

I dont see it as useful the masses. So if it is super expensive. I doubt it.
Video conferencing does the same thing without a huge box. & you can dictate the size & where it projects in the room.

The only thing I could see is if you are videoing it. dont want to video a video conference. So I could see it useful say for the president of the USA talking to the crowds & it being put on TV (like if he was there) but for normal people. I guess I dont see the usefulness. Unless for some reason it was cheap. (which I am doubting)

If it was affordable maybe it could be used in schools during the next pandemic. Teachers could still go to class & teach from it,
but that wont work because then the Kids would need one of those vending machine boxes. Not an iPad

People around me spend SO much money on frivolous shit. A half million for a little boat with outboards. Every other car is $100k.

If it costs $50k to sit with anyone anywhere in the world and have a virtual face-to-face, people will do it. This hits me as something that'll become the norm - but it will be in a slightly different form and able to be purchased at Costco.
