anyone else geeking out a little over this?

I really enjoyed the new Dark Crystal series they did, this makes me think of that.

 
 
No Madmartigan? (I know, but it is still odd to see Willow without him)

Glad to see Phil Fondacaro, though. He has a very distinct look. I thought his character should have actually gone on the journey in the original.
 
It's weird that the kids don't have English accents.

if he's ever able, they have left it open for him to have a role, a small cameo wouldn't shock me.
 
Warwick Davis is a piss poor actor. Quite jarring, actually.

I put this off until all episodes were dropped (after watching the first episode). With the horrendous reviews, I kept putting off continuing until now. Just finished ep2. The actress who plays the child empress is almost as bad an actor as Warrior Davis. The banter between the characters is also annoying, but that isn’t unique to this show. I usually roll my eyes at contrived banter on shows or in movies.

I will probably complete the season, but my expectations are now (appropriately) very low.
 
Watching ep5 now. I am really wanting to abandon this hot garbage mid-episode.

I actually did bail mid-episode. It was quite pleasing pressing the exit button on the remote.

So the challenge has been made. I made it through about half of ep5. Can anyone get all the way through ep5? Is anyone strong enough to actually finish the season?

Kudos to you if you are able. You have a stronger constitution than I, apparently.
