Wine down Wednesday

10 miles on a bike really isn't that much. I'll start on the towpath trail at the Ira Rd trailhead, ride up to The Winking Lizard in Peninsula and back and that's 10 miles. Takes me about 30 minutes.
I just dont care for biking a distance much longer than that. If you don't believe you can suck my schwinn

I don't do anything leisurely.

there isn't much coasting done on a spin bike.

and like Roy said, you are constantly increasing the resistance on the pedals.

The thing is, the way a spin class is run is counter to how you actually ride. On the road you change gears to keep the "resistance" the same and maintain your highest efficiency cadence. I hate classes that spend too much time in low cadence or out of the saddle situations. It's fine for building strength, but doesn't translate to the actual road. I'd never climb a hill on the road in a hard gear at 60 cadence if I could lower the gear, maintain 80-90 and keep the same speed... and at the same time use less energy.

I don't really care about the "real world"... Though, my real world biking does involve changing cadence.

I agree...but then again the point isn't to get from point A to point B on the Peloton.

Had leftover ground beef/Velveeta with Juanitas tortilla chips.

So yummy for my tummy.

I dig it, it's not about getting to where you're going, it's about enjoying the ride.

nice.

My beef is ready to be picked up. My freezer is going to look like a @SlinkyRedfoot wet dream
I really think I should get freezer and buy in bulk

I have friends that split up sides of cow and should get in on that

I'm not sure what the processing fee is, but the meat itself is $2.35/lb. In total, it'll be less than $3.50/lb. So, definitely worth it if you eat that much beef
