She's obviously a communist. Wedding on CFB Saturday. Makes you go to a funeral on CFB Saturday. What's next?
she doesn't really like sports, I don't think she would've been willing to delay wedding until spring to accommodate me

Decided on a seafood boil for tailgating this Sunday. Got some shopping to do.

If looking at a house with a pool, is there anything you should be especially mindful of?

Apparently, pine needles are a pain in the ass to filter out of a pool. Make sure the yard and neighboring yards don't have pine trees.

Source: my uncle, whose neighbor has a big pine tree about 30 feet away from his pool.

Yes. I would ask for water bills from the past year to make sure you don't have a leak. Pool lights can often fill with water and it's easy to see by just looking. Look around the filter and pu.p for leaks. Look at the electrical connections to the pump. Is the system automated or manual? Is there a spa, and if so, does the heater work?

Haven't looked at any in particular yet, but there have been a few we've "saved" on the MLS app.

You live in Ohio. Don’t get a pool.
Well, it would be getting a house that already has a pool. It's not a must have, but if it's there it adds to the appeal

hour long meeting and nothing relevant said

it'll lose it's appeal once you have to maintain it, pay extra for insurance, etc
