I saw something this morning, he was owed $16.5 and settled for $11 million. Where did you see the $20m and settling for $9m?
Proof the B1G and SEC are making so much bank they don’t have to worry about any financial fallout. Like the rich folk that eat at places that don’t put prices on the menu. Price doesn’t matter.

You are right that it was 11mm and he gave up 9mm so I read that wrong but the article did say he was owed 20mm but they could be wrong.
Regardless why give up a dime? The only thing I can figure is he settled for less because maybe they waived any offsets if he gets a new job and paid it all out at once.

Gary Anderson has mental problems as that guy makes terrible decisions and Wisconsin wasn't the only team he left in a weird fashion.

Well if the payout would have been offset by earnings from another school and he thought he would get a high paying gig pretty quickly (which he should) then it could be 11 million he might not had gotten.
So in theory if he settles for less with the stipulation of no offset (assuming one existed) then he might actually have come out ok.
