WK 6 LOLs

I expect us to absolutely fucking doof it against @Hu War Yu ans TCU.

If we win those, that would be cool to see what Iowa state is if they remain undefeated.

I have no idea if we are a good team or not? Like are we scrappy? Are we lucky? We refuse to just put team away we will look like gods on one drive then fucking retards the next, Same with defense.
I've seen TCU play every game. Home games in person and the other two on the tube. They play a hell of a lot better on the road for some reason. In fact, they've down right sucked this year at Amon Carter. You get them in FW so that should help. And there is a huge Tech alumni here in Fort Worth. I see double T stickers on the backs of cars every day around here. Many of them. More than any other school including TCU. Baylor's just not very good and you get them in Lubbock,

I've got to agree with you on the scrappy part. They seem to be playing harder...especially on defense.

lol at Miami’s NIL package to the ACC officials. Must be bigger than Cam Ward’s.

Miami is this years Florida State. They play a weak ass schedule and will get destroyed once they play a real team.

I thought Florida State did pretty good against that SEC team had 10 wins and I think they had a player win the Heisman. Now after the QB injury... Tit for tit.

I was in the stands at the TCU game Saturday. Watching their sorry ass play, I got to thinking, which I’m not equipped to do.

Anyhoo, my advice to any team would be don’t get annihilated by Georgia. TCU and Florida State have not recovered from those ass whippings they got. And one was two years ago.

How good is a top team if they get blown out cause their QB is hurt? Florida State isn’t some Cinderella school like say a Wake Forest

Well, hell how good is a "top" team when they play with their starting QB? Oregon FAFO against Georgia, TCU FAFO against Georgia. Florida FAFO against Alabama in the second SEC champs game where the Tide drove Tebow to tears. Many more.

Bama fan: If your wife cheats on you, you might forgive her and stay for the sake of the kids but you will never trust her again. Deboer, I don't care if you win a natty, we can never trust you again.

You are proving my point dude. TCU has to have miracle seasons to have a chance.

You are proving my point dude. All schools similar to TCU have to have miracle seasons to have a chance.
:fify: There are many more schools that fall into this category than don't IMHO. In fact, I can't think of one school in the Big 12 that doesn't fit this description. I'd say 60% of the P2 would also need a miricale season. We've seen Cincy and TCU have magical seasons and get CFP bids. While TCU did win one game, neither finished. But they did "have a chance".

If/when recruiting becomes close to level, this will continue to be the case IMHO. Some were hoping for the NIL and transfer portal to make the distribution of talent wider. I don't see that as the case. I think it will be more of the same. Those that have the advantage...aka, deep pockets...are not going to be willing to give it up.

Which schools do you think have a chance without having a miracle season?

I’m not saying there are more than a handful of schools that it doesn’t take a miracle season to win a NC but there are a bunch who can have injuries and it not derail their season. Not saying with a backup QB those teams would’ve beaten Georgia, but a bunch wouldn’t have been blown out. This wasn’t intentionally a slight at Florida State, I just don’t think they should be a school where one player turns them from a 12 win team to an average at best team.

Mostly I was just equating the two because both are going to end up with great records cause they don’t play any one.

Oh well now, if we are going to cherry pick... I name off four or five teams, you pick one of those. I am catching onto the rules now.

My bad. I can agree with this totally. Schools of the FSU ilk (and even lesser) should have at least some level of depth where things don’t go completely to shit when losing a QB or any single player.
