It was Coombs fault, then it was Knowles fault, then it was fluke plays, then it was Stallions, then it was McCord's fault -- EVERYEONE'S fault but the person I have said all along. Ryan Day.

Ohio is now 1-7 against AP top 5 teams under Ryan Day. But you are right -- it is everyone else's fault. I hope Ohio administration feels the same way and signs Day to a long extension.

If you go to some of the Michigan sites -- they were convinced Tom Brady was going to come to Michigan to coach the Quarterbacks (instead of taking $400 million to announce games) and Charles Woodson was going to come back and coach the cornerbacks.

Exactly. I brought up the clear as day FACT that Larry Johnson SR has been terrible at developing our DL the last like 4/5 years and it sends him on some tirade about how everyone is making excuses for day. Guys a retard.

People get older and lose their sharpness. LJ is 72 years old, it's probably time to hang it up. That's not an excuse, it's a fact of life. He's had a great career but he's not the coach he used to be. Not trying to shit on the guy, again, he's just old. The problems we saw against Oregon are fixable at least, so I'm not too concerned about that. Biggest issue for me is losing Simmons, so this bye week hopefully clears things up about the OL depth chart moving forward.

I don't trust Day to fix anything, guy just doesn't know how to adapt. I suspect we will win out into the conference title game though and probably limp into the playoffs and he will keep his job because of that.

Yes -- that's it. He forgot how to coach the DL, that has to be what it is. Who is to blame for the secondary? Imagine how bad you'd be if you didn't buy Downs? Burke gave up like 300 yards receiving to Oregon. What about your LB's? Whose fault is that?

Football teams take on the identity of their head coach. The top teams love that Ohio has Ryan Day as their head coach, but keep blaming everyone else.

Ryan Day should be an offensive coordinator somewhere, but thank you for giving him the HC job.
