Worst Sports City?

Michigan hasn’t won a natty since 1948. Don’t know where this 1997 stuff comes from
Granted it is a last century thing, which is my point. Winning every game and ranked #1 by the AP!!!!

Any pre BCS era team that avoided a 1-2 matchup by hiding in the Rose Bowl forfeits any split title claims. Plus everyone knows Nebraska would have ran all over any Big Slow team

Take it to the College Football Forum where you will be a hero for the Nebraska fans that thought they would go to the B1G and own it (plus our back up Quarterback that year is the greatest NFL Quarterback ever) ... we are talking about the fans.

That team wouldn’t have needed to round up homeless people and orphans.

You should have won the Hockey NCAA last year, but yeah...

Best NCAA hockey team I've ever seen.

I'd look at contraction towns:
Cleveland
Seattle
Indy
Well if you count the week that Seahawks moved to Anaheim, Seattle has lost a team from every major sports league

I would have to say that the palpable aura of racism in Boston as well as the atrocity that is Fenway at least puts them in the discussion of worst.
Not to mention all the years of their fan support for that loser Tom Brady.

It'd have to be in the discussion but good grief, Petco Park in the Gaslamp? If the Padres were still in a horrible old stadium like Jack Murphy, maybe.

They also lost the Clippers that used to play at the San Diego Sports Arena over off the 8 and that was horrible, too.
The Murph was a great alternate home game for the Broncos.
