It was a sports themed strip bar southwest of Providence. It has been a few decades, but it is possible that it was in or near Cranston or Warwick.

EDIT: Scratch that, Log N Lantern was in Norwich, CT. I have no idea the one's name in RI.

Current State FL: Miami, other than South Beach the whole metro area is a cesspool.

I've been through there a few times, once on a trip to Tulsa and again around '08 or so for a Grizzlies-Lakers game. I'd have to agree, what a depressing, awful city. Could you imagine growing up in Memphis and that city being all you know? Kinda sad, honestly.

My daughter went to the USCGA and watching a sub go down the river was one of the coolest things ever. I watched from the top of the USS Nautilus once and the ceremonial salute as it went by was pretty spectacular.

My ex father-in-law went there a very long time ago. I used to love playing against them in hockey, not so that I could give him shit but because they were easily the most pleasant fanbase that we faced.
