Would JT Daniels really be the better option for UGA?

Kirby will be fine, he keeps gettin this kind of talent and eventually he will hit it correctly by law of averages if nothing else at QB and win the whole thing. UGA can have another Bo or Bowden ect. With a ton of good teams/years and maybe one or two national championships. He’s ok.

He also has the benefit of being in a down East Division.

Realignment with the additions of TX/OU could change that.

No different than Saban retiring is gonna change the power structure considerably.

I hadn’t even read this before posting but another example of being patient and it paying off.
Kirby is fine, they may well win it all this year still.

Yep. Georgia has the potential benefit of making adjustments on a do over.

Regarding Osborne.... He re-invented his entire offense in the 80's and same with his defense in the early 90's.

I agree. He just has to buy time until Saban retires. Pretty sure he will definitely win a couple of NCs after that happens. UGA should just be patient

“Just be patient”

Easy for someone who’s team is about to win their 7th natty since 2009 to say

That’s just it, Saban and his run at Bama has everyone wanting to be “that”. That’s not how it works for 99.9% of CFB programs

Take Saban out of the picture (say he retired when Kirby went to UGA) and how many NC’a does Kirby potentially have atm?

One for sure. Possibly 2, but doubtful

But if Clemson can do it, we should be able to as well.

Clemson had Deshaun Watson and Trevor Lawrence at QB......5 star guys. Kirby decided to play Jake Fromm over a 1st Round Pick at QB and the Midget over a 5 star at QB.

Also once Nick leaves no other HC will be on the same planet as Kirby recruiting wise

Kirby’s decisions at QB is one of the main reasons he pisses me off so much. Realistically he does too good to fire him and nobody would come if we did, but it’s like the Braves from 01-04, just good enough to keep your hopes up but never able to finish it off. I ain’t greedy, I just want one.

And that’s inexcusable. Who knows of JT would have made a difference, but you had to try something there. Saban being willing to put Tua in over Hurts is part of what makes him the GOAT. Not many coaches are gonna have the balls to bench a QB that lead you to the NCG in back to back seasons

I'd rather have the QB that can make the throws. Bennett is more mobile, but let's not pretend his legs are real difference makers, he's not Kyler Murray or Lamar Jackson.
Please don't be upgrading at QB before the Michigan game. We need all the help we can get.

Curious -- I don't know a whole lot about Georgia's pass protection -- how are your OT's at pass pro? Trying to find a crack UM will be able to exploit.

It’s above average but not as strong as recent years. Tackles are awesome, guard play isn’t terrible but not great. Center is a beast

DE and getting after the QB is where Michigan excels on defense. Hutchinson has 14 sacks and Ojabo has 11 sacks. Was hoping Georgia had a weak spot at the tackle spot. If Georgia has great tackles, it should be an awesome battle to watch, as Hutchinson is predicted to go #1 overall and Ojabo is predicted to go in the top 20 now in the NFL draft.

They did a pretty good job on Will Anderson. He didn’t get a sack until the game was over and Georgia’s Offense was out there going through the motions

Yeah. I figured with the stacked roster they have, They would have some monsters at the tackle positions.
Hopefully our DE's will be able to get some pressure on Bennett. If not, it could be a long day at the office for UM
