If I bet $100 on Michigan not making the playoff, do I win $5?
 
i would not cause i know fuck all of college football and even betting on it would barely make me want to watch it.

Michigan will NOT make the playoff. Will the Buckeyes allow another defeat? Spotty defense, but awesome WR's.
Texas A&M will make the SEC Championship. Well, you know, it's Texas A&M, NIL, big time recruiting.
Southern Cal will make the PAC 12 Championship. Well, you know, it's the Trojans, Riley, time to reclaim the PAC 12 before leaving it.

1. NO I think they have a good shot.
2. YES, Key returning players and a baby shizza soft schedule will help em look good but I think they still lose some that will drive their fans crazy. Last year felt fluky to me, prove it Harbs.
3. NO this year, prob yes NEXT year.
4. YES on USC though I wouldn't be terribly confident as they still have alot of holes on defense.

That is what i'm curious about. What are the odds for this bet? I'm a die hard UM fan, but with a new defensive coordinator and new starters all over the field on defense (hell -- i don't even know who half the starters will be on defense) -- UM will need a minor miracle to beat OSU on the road.

I’ve never made a bet for someone to not do something with their season. Lose a game, sure. Would this be the inverse of their odds TO make the playoffs?

I don’t know how they could pull off replacing the pass rush, again. A lot of talent is gone from that side of the ball.

I have no clue? I've made a lot of bets, but i don't really mess with future bets like this. Way too much can go wrong on a future bet.

If I were to bet -- I'd bet a lot UM isn't making it to the CFP again. Our defense could be terrible, we have no clue. The fact they let the former top 5 recruit who was kicked out of Bama and Houston grad transfer into UM tells me, they aren't happy with the edge rushers they have.

Also UM doesn't have a depth chart filled with 5 star recruits waiting their turn on the either side of the ball like OSU, Georgia, Bama, etc have. UM has to develop kids. So getting to the CFP is a pipe dream.

In my lifetime? What’s my 3rd choice?

Neither one has played in a CCG very often in the last 30 years… be it any conference.

But, both deserve credit for spending a shitpot full of money to not make said CCGs!

I would absolutely take your avy bet but then I reflected on a.) the weakness and astonishing lack of depth of the B1G, and b.) I have't changed my avy in forever and your choice would be very tough to look at for a week.
