Finally December. Do you have enough wrapping paper for all the gifts you bought over the weekend? I have envelopes for cash gifts.

hoping to get done the workday and finish up the leaf piles in the backyard.

got the Christmas lights up on the porch and the little candles in the windows, so that's off my plate.

I need a wreath

Think so, have a big roll left from last year, and we reuse gift bags.

Got the tree put together and up last night. Will hopefully at least get the lights on it tonight.

Took the kiddos to a school skating party last night. 2 hours of non-stop wipeouts watching kids slam head first into the wood floor and concuss themselves right and left. Just brutal and absolutely hilarious at the same time. Pretty sure one kid tore his ACL corkscrewing himself into the ground in a failed attempt to catch himself. I’ve seen kids take less damage in football games.

I never got the hang of roller skating. Got to the point that I wouldn't hurt myself on ice skates and roller blades, but roller skates were like a death trap for me.

I haven't been on roller skates or blades in a long while

saw a bunch of roller bladers in South Beach last month...I like that they have cut them down to just 3 wheels

It's been a while for me, too, like probably since grade school. And I know I busted my ass a ton.

I am hoping to get on a pair of ice skates this winter...closest rink is in Annapolis, but it would make for a nice day trip

Wife spent a lot of time roller skating in junior high.

Broke her arm when we had a skating party for our daughter when she was a kid.

I went to a lot of roller skating parties growing up...had to be good on skates or else you got eaten alive

The roller skating rink was the Saturday nite hang out place in my early to mid teens. Never cared for regular dancing, but roller dancing was a different story.
