Wrist Watches: Let’s see yours

honestly, you can't go wrong with some of the Seikos, Casios, and Citizens out there for their price point. Same can be said about Orient. The Bambinos are nice.

I ended up selling the Brew...it was nice and interesting but I never liked wearing it.

The Omega was a 40th birthday gift to myself and the Astor & Banks was my wedding watch from October.

The Astra I saw at a watch show in DC and liked it enough to buy it.

I am set for watches for now...but keep looking at this Oris Pointer Date...just need to find one in a pawn shop or something

a co-worker of mine has the oris big pointer with the black dial, it's a stone-cold stunner of a timepiece. Oris is HIGHLY underrated

I admit, watches are my obsession, I've been an enthusiast/collector for most of my adult life. I got into them because my old man was always a watch guy, guess it just rubbed off on me. I know its an expensive hobby and mechanical watches belong in museums, but, they bring me joy.

I have at least 15-20 in my collection at any given time, and for the last week or so, I've been rocking my Omega Speedmaster Pro, the new one with the white enamel dial, picked it up back in November. This watch is phenomenal, I ended up selling my original black dial model because I like this one so much more.

really nice watch! one day I want a Speedy but my Aqua Terra will do for now.

I broke every watch I've ever owned somehow or other. Now I just use my phone as a time piece
I did that for years until I got a fit bit. Had 2 of them for several years and now have the Samsung newest smart watch. I feel like dick Tracey with it.

A pick of my wife and dog are in the face of it.

Haha, since originally posting in this thread, I started wearing a smartwatch. It's a $30 job off amazon, probably sells all my health data to the Chinese Ministry of Medical Sciences. But it tracks my steps, monitors my sleep, and also keeps time.
Says your jogging but your really in the bathroom...

kind of want to get this one for the summer

Hopped on TrueMed, answered a couple questions to get a “Letter of Medical Necessity” emailed to me by some doctor in Iowa so I can use my HSA money to get a Amazfit T-Rex 3. Probably getting cancer from toxic microplastics in the band and all my sleepies and steppies going straight to China, but YOLOOOOOO
That's a cool watch

Fitbits never lasted more than 6 months for me if I actually used them to record workouts, I assume due to sweat buildup. It makes me nervous now having a $300 watch on while working out but since I only kinda paid for it, I don’t mind as much.

Big difference in the material of them. My fit bit never went to work outs as I don't do that, but I do 20k steps a day and pick shit up and put stuff down for a living. During my work day it usually logs me at 2 hours of "work out" which I assume is by my heartbeat per minute count being high. Pushing and pulling up to 2 tons with a pallet jack will do that.

I love the Samsung as it does more that the fit bit. But my fit bit had a pic on the face that is kinda my moniker at work. Dog drinking coffee as the world burn down around him.

BTW, I have all these things the watch does but only use a few of the apps. Seems like I discover something every few weeks it does.

So far, other than steps and stuff, I only use it to make calls and voice text is off the charts better than going the phone route. Did a heart check twice and both times I freaked because it gives you a warning and at first you are like I am having a stroke but it is just a thing they put out saying legal shit.
