That defense got burned time and time again. Vics influence is gone and that aint good for WVU.
Agree the QB is bad and imo they should just make the move to the young mobile QB (Green?) but that was a group effort.

The defense isn’t the reason they lost. Look no further then the turnovers committed and the horrid play calling at times.

WR Demus 6 catches 133 TD

WR Jarrett 6 catches 122 TD

Dude, 126 of tua’s passing yards and 2 of those TDs came on 2 plays. Broken plays I might add. He Nearly doesn’t have 200 yards passing without them. Those two receivers got half their yards on one play each. Those stats are beyond misleading.

I do agree the run defense needs to improve. But this Maryland offense is pretty damn good. Bottom line is we gave this game away. Zero reason to lose this and a balk of the blame goes on the offense.

Maryland would be lucky to have a team like WVU as a rival

Instead they have to settle for Rutgers
