When my oldest was about 8 she was literally 1/4” too short for the Hulk at Universal.My daughter is seven. Keeps asking me when she can ride the big roller coasters. This was her first upside down coaster, which she did when she was still 6. Needs to get to 4'6" to ride the bigger ones.
Next weekend we came back with her in three pairs of socks and a cardboard orthotic I made in her shoes…..and with her having learned how to discretely get up on tip toe when they measure. And it worked. And the 1/4” didn’t mean she fell out, thankfully.
