You ever hate your own team?

It’s almost unbelievable how horrible the teams I root for are lately.

Pistons have won like 8 games in the last year. Red Wings can even win at the draft lottery. Tigers have been the worst team over the last five years. The Lions are the Lions, it’s crazy.
You need to start asking the question is it the teams you root for or your life choices? I think a deep dive self evaluation is long overdue.

Even my HS lost in football yesterday. (Which is weird to say in January)

The thing with being a fan of Georgia sports teams is that generally, the teams are pretty good, they just all find new ways to choke when it matters. I'll be 30 in March, and the Braves have had a losing record in just 5 seasons of my life, and UGA currently has the longest active bowl streak in the country. Not a lot of bad years there, but no championships(I was 4 when the Braves won the WS, not near old enough to really even know what was happening), and a lot of brutal losses and chokes
Yeah that seems to be how they feel about it (two friends actually, both Mizzou guys so that doesn't help with the finding ways to lose). The one guy actually posted a screenshot of him blocking the Falcons on Twitter after they choked to Dallas this year because he had enough (though I don't think that lasted long). Atlanta and Minnesota have both had a real rough go of it lately.

You know, I was just thinking yesterday about how much more I enjoyed watching the NFL this year when the Seahawks weren't playing.

This has been the case in the past but it's always been when Seattle sucked ass. They went 12-4 this year though, and it still just pissed me the fuck off watching the Seahawks play.

I probably need to stick to fantasy and gambling.

This year's Falcons found more ways to lose a game than I thought possible. They could have been a playoff team had they not found so many ways to lose games they had no business losing, then I thought they were gonna fuck around and beat the Chiefs, and that would have pissed me off more than any of the bad losses.

High schools here in NC aren't going to kick off until Feb. They put their kids through two a days and then postponed the season. The coaches had them practicing in pads for a month in groups of no more than 10 before they finally went to work outs and conditioning. It's the most fucked up thing I've ever heard of and know the kids are miserable.

We’ve got our high school basketball players wearing masks......while they play.

NUTS

Our season paused twice.

They now are at the state semi finals. Think it’d been since the first week of November since any games.

There is football, for twenty four schools or whatever, but no basketball. Idk what will happen with indoor winter sports.

If they can Pederson, what exactly is Roseman‘s plan with Wentz and Hurts? He’ll have to make a decision this offseason.
I’ve been set that if they do anything they move Wentz. But, now it’s not looking so hot for Peterson. This week will be telling.

If they drop him I think the QB becomes easy for Roseman....status quo. Maybe they compete in camp, maybe Wentz doesn’t like that and they just give him the job right back.

It was going to end up either Peterson or Wentz anyway. In that case QB doesn’t need as much offseason work, but coach does.

Matt Nagy is 28-20 and 2 playoff appearances with the bears. I think he’ll stay another year.
