My pick for UGA was a game we actually won. 2016 vs Nichols State. We beat em by a score of like 26-24. Their defensive front whipped our o-line all game and the only reason we won was because their QB had to come out for one play and the back up had a terrible fumble that was scooped and ran for 6.

I can’t recall losing to any FCS or unranked G5 teams, I’m sure it happened in the 90’s, but they didn’t last in my memory. That was the closest we came.

I don’t like losing, but getting blown out by better teams is easier to swallow than scraping by a mid tier FCS team IMO

vs. TTU 2004
vs. Colorado 2001
vs. Ball State 2007 (win)
vs. McNeese State 2014 (win)
vs. Whisky 2012
vs. Northern Illinois 2017

Just to name a few

In my lifetime?

Tulsa 2010
S. Fla. 2011
National Championship game 2012
I’d put Clemson 2018 here too except they did AL even dirtier the next game so o don’t feel as bad.

Pretty much all of 2007.

Boise State v Georgia at Athens. I left at Halftime.

I wish I had accompanied my brother to the second matchup at the Georgia Dome. BSU handily got their revenge.

Not Georgia Southern when they were an FCS team?
Nope - because we suuucked then. Saturday was just complete lack of prep and looking past a rival to the SECCG. The attitude Sat. was so lackadaisical, UF didn't even feel the need to start playing hard until the fog bank moved-in.

There's just no excuse for Sat. The loss to GS had the excuse of suckage, including no offense.

Deacs are usually the embarrassing loss

Have been some embarrassing ones in big games the last 15 years. Also, some losses to embarrassing teams.

I'm going with allowing 313 yards rushing to Tim Biakabutuka in 95, though.

2009 against UConn was pretty embarrassing. Losing 38-0 to Michigan in 2007 was also pretty embarrassing.

In hindsight, it’s not that embarrassing, but at the time when UGA decided to do a blackout against Bama in 2008 and then fell behind 31-0 before we even knew what happened. Preseason number 1. Final score was only like 42-31, but it wasn’t near that close in reality. That was Saban’s coming out party.

It made the Florida blowout later in the season easier to swallow though
