Your CFB team's mount rushmore.

I know damn well we haven't had four coaches. But we've had a few good players...only one HOFer. And, what does it say about a school that one of the four is a kicker?

1. Don Maynard
2. Seth Joyner
3. Chris Jacke
4. TBD....but it looks like Aaron Jones will be it.
I strongly considered putting Hot Rod Blankenship on UGA’s mount Rushmore

Oregon
Marcus Mariota
Haloti Ngata
LaMichael James
Mel Renfro

Opted to pick different positions instead of just listing 4 QBs.

Does Thibodeaux makes the list after this season?

Earl Campbell, Ricky, VY, Nobis

(was REALLY hard to keep Derrick Johnson off this list)

Howard Jones
Forest Evachevsky
Hayden Fry
Kirk Ferentz

Nile Kinnick
Cal Jones
Chuck Long
Alex Karras

Coaches was easy. Players was harder as it is Kinnick and around 10 others.

Iowa State:

Coaches:

Clay Stapleton
Johnny Majors
Earle Bruce
Dan McCarney

Players:

George Amundson
Matt Blair
Troy Davis
Seneca Wallace

Coaches

Jim Lookabaugh
Jimmy Johnson.
Pat Jones
Mike Gundy. I know current coaches don't count but I don’t exactly have a deep roster to work with here.

Players

Barry Sanders
Thurman Thomas
Terry Miller
Bob Fenimore

I was going to go one player per position but we just have too many running backs that are considered legendary, so I went the opposite direction. I was going to have Justin Blackmon over Miller as he was the best player on our best team this century but his off the field issues make it hard to put him on the same level as people who are absolutely revered. Another honorable mention is Neil Armstrong. Played on the '45 team and later coached the Bears. Also he's from my hometown so that's kinda cool.
