Very true, but not knowing the audience, his name is often overlooked by those that have only heard of the bigger names.

Let's face it, the greatest guitarist to have ever lived is likely someone you never have or ever will hear of. They've never gotten their big break and have played small gigs here or there, but no one with an influence have come upon them. Hell, my cousin is better than many I hear on radio or "mainstream" , but will likely never be known outside a 100 mile radius.
 
My brother says Phil Keaggy is the best he's ever heard.
