I say 2017 for Iowa (8-5)

Wyoming - Iowa W - Wyoming finished 8-5
Iowa State - W - 8-5
North Texas - W - 9-5
Penn State - L - 11-2 - #8 in final AP Poll
Michigan State - L - 10-3 - #15
Illinois - W - 2-10
Northwestern - L - 10-3 - #17
Minnesota - W - 5-7
Ohio State - W - 10-2 - #5
Wisconsin - L - 13-1 - #7
Purdue - L - 7-6
Nebraska - W - 4-8
Boston College - W - 7-6

Overall - 104-63

For OSU I'd say it has to be 2016. We faced 5 of the final AP top 10 teams that year

#1 Clemson
#5 Oklahoma
#7 Penn State
#9 Wisconsin
#10 michigan

Also pounded 9-4 Nebraska by 59.

None of them were that hard, we just choked it up with the last few years of Bob and Lincoln not having a Defense.

Did I leave anything out.

2019. A&M was the first team to face three teams in a single season that were ranked #1 at the time. We played Bama, Clemson, and LSU while they were each ranked #1 that week.

Being a national champ one year doesn't mean you are great the next year, though.

2014 Oregon played the following:

#1 Ohio State 14-1
#5 Michigan State 11-2
#5 Florida State 13-1
#10 UCLA 10-3
#19 Arizona 10-4 (Twice)
#21 Utah 9-4

2017 ND played:

#2 UGA
#12 USC
#13 Miami
#15 MSU
#18 LSU(Bowl game)
#20 Stanford
#23 NC State

Also bowl opponents in Temple(7-6), Boston College, Wake Forest(8-5) and Navy(7-6).

11 out of 13 against bowl eligible teams.

Nothing compares to Sewanee's 1899 schedule.
