Your go-to most repulsive food

Well, @ojb81 says I'm a fussy eater (I am) so there isn't much on the disgusting food menu that I will even consider eating.

My kids all know that I'm fussy as well as texture fussy, so when my daughter caught me eating cottage cheese she was howling. OMG dad, you eat cottage cheese?

Sometimes I get envious about my friends that are foodies and will eat anything and then I remember that most of the gross looking, gross smelling food I've tried was in fact, GROSS tasting.

Peanut butter sandwich, heavy on the Miracle Whip.

Cottons cheese with tomato juice pour over it with black pepper. My grandmother taught us to eat that and we loved it. I've passed it on to my kids but my wife won't touch it.

During the depression they didn't have much and cottage cheese with stewed tomatoes was a real treat for my grandmother. One day she got a craving for it but didn't have any stewed tomatoes but had some tomato juice and the tradition was born.

It looks gross but is great. Get some Ritz crackers to crumble in and add some hot sauce if you like it spicy.

My dad puts ketchup in mac and cheese.

That might have something to do with my utter hatred of ketchup.

something that i adore, that most people can't handle because it's extremely salty, it's smoked herring

gotta eat it with some sort of bread or crackers though, to balance out the saltiness

and another thing i like, that originated in Armenia God only knows how long ago, is pastirma, very popular in Turkey and the countries surrounding it. It's highly-seasoned, mainly with fenugreek and garlic, and air-dried/cured. one of my favorite breakfasts is scrambled eggs mixed up with thinly sliced shavings of it.

When I was a kid, I ate pickled herring all the time. I loved it.

I tried it a few years ago and almost threw up on my grandma's kitchen floor.

cottage cheese is awesome, you sonuvabitch. gotta be 4%, though. large curd
Blech, although I'll agree the large curd is definitely better.
