Bust- Aidan Hutchinson. A big slow Midwestern edge rusher. He looked good against big slow Midwestern tackles. Dude got completely shut down in the biggest game of his life by a tackle that dropped to the 6th round and will likely be switching to guard in the NFL. I just don’t see this guy panning out. Plus Aidan is a soft name.

Steal- Nakobe Dean. Was the best player on the best defense in college football. A defense that saw 5 players go in the first round, 7 in the first 3 rounds, 8 drafted overall with 3 projected first rounders in next year’s draft. Was a kid first round grade, but stock fell because of an injury concern that won’t even limit him in rookie mini camp this week and being a bit undersized. All he does is make plays from sideline to sideline with a great football IQ. I think he’s gonna be the best LB in the draft and the Eagles got him in the third round

Meh on Dean. He didn't just fall because of the injury. He mostly just didn't have the measurables. He's fast, but he just doesn't fit the mold of a typical backer these days.

And you can make the argument that he was the best player on the field because of how much that front line helped free him up. I'm not saying he won't be good, but I also don't think he'll be great.

Bust- Kenny Pickett
Steal- Zach Tom

bank on it

Meh. He’s fast, strong and athletic with a high football IQ. Captain and signal caller on the defense. He lined up next to Quay Walker all season. He easily out produced Walker because he’s a better player than Walker. Walker went in the first round. At some point substance has to come before style

Bust is Thibs
Steal is Wydermeyer going UDFA to Bills

All Georgia players will be the biggest failures

Sweet homer troll thread.

Plenty of players have been great in college but just aren't built for the nfl. Especially at the backer and dline position. Clemson has had a run of really damn good linebackers that anchor the defense, but aren't worth much in the nfl because they are undersized or a little slow. Bouleware and now Skalski/Spector haven't/won't be given much of a chance because of their measurables.

What Dean was for Georgia, Skalski was for Clemson. Which is why he made a UDFA deal, but Isaiah Simpson was drafted in the first and Trenton Simpson will be drafted high next year.

We’ll see. I’m gonna go ahead and predict he has a bigger impact with the Eagles than Jordan Davis does

Dean is more likely to see sizable playing time than Davis does. DL usually need a year and Fletcher is in front of him.

Davis was a damn good player, but we did so much rotating on the d-line, he’s probably gonna need to build up his stamina.

It always seems that way on DL. Need to build stamina, and strength. Very few poor OL in the NFL like you were likely to see most Saturdays in college. It's not a 3 month fix to adapt.

Bust - Garrett Wilson, I guess, idk.

Steal - Chad Muma? Fuck if I know lol.

Bust- Tibido to the Gmen
Steal- Dean hands down!
