Although I think OU puts the game away and wins soundly, I wouldn't expect Oklahoma to put up a lot of points. Brent's system will emphasis defense and you have to replace a lot of talent on offense. I expect it to be a lower scoring game but one that you are never in danger of losing.
A lot of people are going to be surprised when the offense doesn’t miss a beat

I am too scared to predict anything with Tennessee but I will go with Tennessee 42, Ball State 24. I don't think game will be close. Tennessee plays @ Pittsburgh in week 2 so that is when things will get interesting. Most preseason polls have Pittsburgh ranked in the top 15 but they have lost quite a bit on offense (their defense should still be at 2021 level or better).
Pitt will also be coming off the backyard brawl. Both teams could be vulnerable TBH

or you put in the 3rd/4th teamers because you were so far ahead.
I wonder if you'll see more of those guys in those situations playing more time and more of them, just because of the NIL money. Any time on the field has to help that.

Don't know if that's a good or bad thing yet.

Georgia 34 Oregon 20
I think this is very reasonable.

- It's a home game, so advantage UGA.
- Love your new coach, but he's a brand spanking new HC, advantage UGA.
- 20 points ... hmmm ... we only gave up about 10 per game last year, but our D will take a step back. If you had a QB other than Bo Nix, who we own, I'd be more confident you might score more. But 20 sounds about right.
- 34 points ... hmmm ... last year we averaged 38 points per game. Keep in mind we normally were shutting things down by the 4th quarter at the latest. Our O will be better this year. Really love your ILBs, so I think it will come down to your DL. I think we score more because it's a home game and you have a new coach, but it's hard to argue against 34.

Good, honest prediction, IMO. If I had to offer an alternative, I'd go with UGA 42-28, with Bo having a good night and us breaking in some new D players (although all our guys played last year).

Defensively, Oregon's front 7 is pretty tough. Dorlus is probably the best D-lineman in the PAC 12 and as you mentioned, there's a lot of talent at LB. If UGA is going to score in the 40s, it's going to have to be through the air. They have the ability to do that but Bennett will have to be on his game if they are going to score in the 40s IMO. This is probably the best defense Georgia will face in the regular season but they have the advantage of it being a de facto home game.

Stop sucking up to the enemy. We’re winning 63-0. Hell, we’ll probably agree to 12 minute quarters and a running clock in the second half

Oddly familiar sounds

Looks like we go to Oregon St, probably won’t be much of a game unless we figure out how to put points on the board. We lost our one big play maker, so hopefully next man up takes charge.
