Your team’s most heartbreaking loss

Call your cousins and tell them you’ll do anything to support the getGTtotheB1G fund
I have nothing against WVU, but I hope the B1G picks up USC, UCLA, Cal, Stanford, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Kansas, ISU, and K-St. Having 4 pods of 6, playing 5 annual games and 1 rotating from each other pod with 4 non-cons.

I watched that game.
Couldn't believe Osborne didn't just kick it.

And as a side note, I was asking myself 'who the fuck is this miami team'
You would soon realize they were a big deal lol. But yeah, that sucks, kicking it gives Nebraska another national title, but I think we all understand Osbornes decision on some level.

Awbarn's kick 6 crap or the Cam Newton come back. They both hurt equally... Just goes to show that Awbarn needs a messiah or some lucky shit to win a game.

Watching the field goal barely go through in the 09 CCG hurt too. I would have rather seen it go straight down the middle than play with my heart the whole time in the air.

Besides the countless missed FG's vs Stanford and USC, I'd have to say our 2007 loss to Arizona was one of the most heart breaking losses. Sure it wasn't a last second loss, but that entire game was devastating. Heisman sure winner Dixon goes down and Oregon's certainty of winning a national title that year goes down.

last year, up 15 on the horns,
with a lil over 3min to go,
and lose at home in OT -

fuck me runnin -

I wasn't alive for it, but I have seen it many times... 83 against Miami, real men go for two.
What's really bad about 83 for Nebraska is.....

teams facing that now can just kick the PAT and go into OT.

OT wasn't an option in 83. Nebraska's only chance to win the game was to go for 2.

There’s a chance with a tie, Nebraska gets the natty though.

Hate to say it, but it probably should have went to Auburn that year. Probably would have went to Texas had they not lost to UGA in the Cotton Bowl. That Auburn-Texas-UGA triangle must have been interesting that year. All had one loss, Auburn to Texas, Texas to UGA, UGA to Auburn.

Texas leads 9-3 in the fourth and forces a punt.

Texas muffs the punt.

Georgia recovered. Got a TD.

Wins 10-9.

Only time I can think of that both #1 and #2 lost on New Year's Day by exactly 1 point.

Yep and that is precisely why Osborne did it. There was no overtime and he knew that in order to be a real champion, you needed to win and not tie.

Hence all 3 of Osbornes titles are undefeated and untied seasons.

UGA has a bunch of em.

HMs:

Dobbnail boot, Hail Mary win for Tennessee
Prayer at Jordan-Hare- 4th and 18 Hail Mary win for Auburn
2012 SECCG- Fell 5 yards short of a natty appearance

But the obvious winner is second and 26 in the 2017 NCG.

Nb4 some unoriginal moron chimes in with “all of them”

Regarding the Tennessee Hail Mary in 2016, you guys also scored with a near Hail Mary play too so I always call it the double Hail Mary game. We led the entire game. Typically Tennessee trying to choke at the end. Florida beat us in 2014 and 2015 on the last play of the game.

Nebraska 100% wins the natty with a tie. They still would have been the the only undefeated team in the country that year. It really is a shame what has happened to Nebraska football.
