If an umpire makes a bad call and gets confrontational with a player and the player accidentally bumps him, player would be looking at a fine and suspension, or in this case of college baseball, possibly kicked off the team, but the umpire can put his hands on a player and will likely face no punishment

There was no groping. The umpire was just making sure he didn't show up the pitcher & start a brawl.
