I’m going to likely be out of pocket for anything fun until at least the second week of June.

Can let you all know if things happen sooner. Just a lot in the air at moment.

NFL Bucket & Cap Draft

8 Buckets 4 Teams in each bucket. You take 3 players per bucket. You CANNOT repeat teams.

Players drafted must have played with the team for 4 years to be eligible...

Years of eligible players - 1950 - 2019 (2010-2019 wrinkle)

Wrinkle idea: If you pick a player between 2010-2019 you have to add $1 for each All-Pro & $3 MVP, OPOY/DPOY. Ex: Mahomes $4 - 4 PB's + $3 -MVP + $1-All-Pro + $3 - 1 OPOY = $11 total

Cap per bucket is $18
$1 for each year a pro bowl
No pro bowl players are $0

You can trade picks, players & money but not teams.

Once you draft a player for a team you are allowed to move player to another team later if eligible. (Let's not abuse this)

Bucket 2 : Giants : Vikings : Colts : Falcons
Bucket 3 : Cowboys : Texans : Chargers : Saints

If y'all look at the Champions thread I am going back to find the dates of all the Championships, gonna take a while. I don't think i'll be able to find them all. I would love to find an old draft that I don't have in the Champions thread, remember we didn't have a mock draft forum the first handful of drafts but I can't find them.

Everyone knows I don't like current players in all time drafts but this is your baby so you better help run it.

$18 might be too high? Maybe not.

I don't like trading money but if we do there has to be a rule making sure people aren't just giving away $5 for $1 because they don't need the $5 but need one more dollar for a player they really want.

Played with the team for four years? Meaning they could have played 9 games in four years and still be eligible for that team or should there be a games minimum or perhaps a starts minimum?

I like what you did with the buckets, great job!

Moving players to different teams, I think there should be a cap on this, people could end up changing 6, 8,10 times.


Just my thoughts do what ya want with them.

Btw I grabbed the rules from a draft back in 2018…so I copied and pasted this lol. I added the wrinkle.

I think if we set a steep price for all players beyond 2010 it should be fair but isn’t a need.

Trading $$$ doesn’t have to be included but it’s fun.

Yeah a set number of games is needed.

I agree, if you trade you can only switch teams for a player TWICE. Sound good?
