Mock Drafts : Chat

I meant switching a players’ team is capped at 2. Of course you can use this rule if you trade for a player too. Which would be a nice added factor

Btw I grabbed the rules from a draft back in 2018…so I copied and pasted this lol. I added the wrinkle.

I think if we set a steep price for all players beyond 2010 it should be fair but isn’t a need.

Trading $$$ doesn’t have to be included but it’s fun.

Yeah a set number of games is needed.

I agree, if you trade you can only switch teams for a player TWICE. Sound good?

1. LMAO

2. Leave it the way you have it, that's fine.

3. Include it, just needs to be some kind of rule preventing $5 for $1 type trades.

4. 64 games played?

5. Not worried about trades really maybe just saying no more than 5 changes total in the draft, not counting trades.

I think if you trade for a player you can put him on whatever team ya want, no restriction there.

All sounds good and 64 is a good number

When trading money you can only gain or lose $2

EX... If you are trading $2 the most you can get back is $4 if you are trading for $5 you must give at least $3

??

I love it when a plan comes together

Keep $18/bucket??

Are we taking a break or starting NFL?

So break now or doing nba? Also given the issues from last draft let's make sure rules are clear before we start the draft.

The Michael Jordan NBA Draft.

Just throwing out some ideas.

1991 NBA rules.

Players had to have played at least 1 game during Jordan's career with the Bulls to qualify.

1984 - 1993 1995 - 1998

Everyone gets Jordan, let's see who builds the best team around him.

I'm gonna throw this one out there for like the 8th year lol. Don't think we have ever done it, at least not in a while
Draft position groups from teams for specific seasons pre F.R.
To qualify, a player must have started 8 games that season

QB/FB/RB(x2) 3 players
3 WR/1TE(×2) 8 players
OL(x2) 10 players
DL 4 or 3 (x2) 8 or 6 players
LB 3 or 4 (x2) 6 or 8 players
2 CB 2 S(x2) 8 players

12 round draft. 43 total players, 21 offense/22 defense
Once your roster is set, you list only your base 11 man defense and 11 man defense. Everyone else is considered subs that can be used in various situations(3rd down, short yardage, etc)

So, if I want Emmitt Smith, I pick a year that he started and list him along with the QB and FB. Obviously Aikman and Moose work best.

Later I pick Steve Young, Roger Craig and Tom Rathman. Those are my 6 guys. I have to show 3 primary starters. We can all see who the short yardage, 3rd down guy can be on the side

And so on

Y'all want to do another football-kinda redraft of the last draft, basketball or skip to baseball?

Ill go with the consensus but did like nos idea

A super draft would be fun.
