2022 Super Regionals

guess the nebraska fans will now roll with ND since they play UT in the CWS next?

@Thiefery , win the lotto, hoser. We need to go to Omaha in style.

Ole Miss coach went from damn near being fired and people questioning their inclusion in the tournament to making it to Omaha.

Guess I’ll pull for Arkansas to win it all. I like Sam Pittman

Yeah people were giving ole miss some shit.. and I got it too, I thought NC State should have gotten the nod over them too, but it's tough to blame the committee when the school they picked has made a run into Omaha

Other than a few years of my time overseas in the military, I've been to every CWS since I was a kid in the early 70's. My family's had season tickets for decades. I've seen tejas play many times and I'll say this about their fans.....

Very few show up unless tejas makes it to the championship series.
They stop at Walmart when they get into town and buy cheap coolers and chairs for their parking lot tailgates.
When all is said and done they leave said coolers and chairs in the parking lots before heading back to the airport to return their rental car. They don't even take the time to pile them up by the trash cans. LOL
They're the only school I've ever seen do it.
They haven't made the championship series since 2009 so we'll see if that has changed in the last 13 years.

LSU fans show up in good numbers even when LSU isn't in the CWS. The peeps who have season tickets in front of mine are LSU fans and live in Louisiana. They bring their RV up EVERY year and rarely miss a game.
LSU tailgates are the greatest. Walk over and chat with them and you're gonna get offered some of the best tailgate food/drink you've ever had. Offer 'em a beer and they'll never accept it. They've got plenty of booze themselves.

Since there are no Cinderella's in this years CWS it's hard to guess who will be the local fan favorite out of that group.

I'd guess Oklahoma, but Omaha is a catholic town (Creighton), so Notre Dame will get their share.

Wait, so we are litter bugs (with practically new chairs and coolers) and we aren't passionate about baseball because we only visit if we make the CWS?

Can't wait to see all the LSU fans on tv this week :)

TX in the cws for the 38th time with lots of veterans and the best player in the nation in NO WAY is a Cinderella. Lol.

Agrarians are going to buy LOTS of tickets.

Not the CWS in general. Only for the Championship series.

tejas fans only show up in good numbers for the Championship series if they're in the championship.

The chairs and coolers are the cheap shit. Styrofoam coolers. Not something anyone would pick up to take home.

Yes. The CWS maintenance crews end up having to go through the parking lot picking all that shit up.

lol.. that's what they get paid to do right? What's the difference between that and the parking lots on Saturday afternoons and nights?

Cinderella: A team (or teams) that have never made it to Omaha.

ECU and Va Tech were the only possibilities this year.

Even UConn has been to Omaha 5 times. So if they make it they won't be a Cinderella.

Know your CWS

i was joking about the #SEC thing but people really rolling with it
