Yeah, triple digits can fuck right off!
I've been monitoring my plants pretty closely- they seem to be doing fine. I'm getting excited because my dahlias are starting to make their way through the dirt! Of course, I read 87 different articles on either pinching or trimming them before the flowers come out, but none of it makes sense to me, so they'll probably get too long and snap :(

If anyone tells you the weather in LA isn't perfect, they're lying to you.

Also, remember when I told you guys I wasn't going back to Five Guys because of the cost? Um, I lied.
People keep griping about the cost, but is it that expensive for what you get? I've had it a few times (maybe 3 or 4?) and never thought it was exorbitant. But I also order from the kid's menu, so maybe that's the difference :headscratch:

Still better than In & Out at almost any price.

Yeah, I said it. Who wants to fight?

I haven't been to In-N-Out since 2015. I shit you not last night we passed the one in Van Nuys and the line was all the way down the road with people just sitting there with flashers on.

I paid $22 at Five Guys. Good, not THAT good. Last time for real this time. I promise.

They make them for even bigger sets! my issue is that mine will go on the wall above the fireplace so who knows what I'll be anchoring it to! I could put it on a stand on another wall, but I really don't want to. I'm gonna be really bummed if it crashes to the ground after all the time it took me to finally pull the trigger on buying a new one
@moxie gun be like those late fucks that have to sit in the front row at the movies.

I hate so cal weather, boring af. No snow no gnarly storms. Something as a kid having only vacationed in Cali never thought possible to hate that weather there and of all things miss Nebraska weather.

I'll take 72F, sunny and gently swaying palms every day for the rest of my life and never once take it for granted.

There's days when I think about that but only when it's -40 feels like or 115+ feels like 😂

Nevermind what you gotta put up with to even be in so cal 😂

Do I have to do research on a tv mounting bracket or can I just get whatever the kid at costco tells me to get? The sony one is like, $350. Can't remember the price of the one at Costco, but I'm pretty sure it was less than half that.

please get the super or a handyman to do this tv mount for you. Or your current lover.

get the one recommended for the model/brand of the tv

I swear I recall an earlier episode of "Do It Yo Goddamn Self" with @moxie, wherein it may have been established that the walls were lath and plaster? Just sayin'. Might factor in. lulz

What size of tv and what is the weight

I already fucked up the drywall with the one I put up a few years ago so i'm not too concerned about that. The only thing i'm really freaked out about is that it will fall. The new one is 75" and nearly 100lbs, I think. Maybe 80's. I dunno.
Lol that's kinda important to know

@moxie I highly recommend a fully articulating mount, it makes cable management much easier.

I don't think any of these are the same as mine (pretty sure mines heavier duty and holds more weight than these) but I use a mount like this for my 85"

I got rockstar cable management on it too
