SEC or the B1G ... who you got?

The Cowboys used to be a worthy opponent. Now, just a sad, sad joke.
they made the playoffs.. something Wisconsin hasn't done

Tell me again, how many teams make the NFL playoffs?
All of'em?
Doesn't all the pro teams make the playoffs?
:noidea::noidea::noidea:

I mean, why have the regular season, if all the pro teams don't make the playoffs?

I really don't think you are making the point you think you are making - "we haven't won or been to Super Bowl for 26 years, but we sure make the most money of all teams." No fan gives a shit about that in the NFL.
Fans may not but it is a business. Same for college. 1st goal is to make money. 2nd goal is to win as cheaply as we can. 3rd goal is to win at all cost.

Somewhere is those pro goals is "Get the taxpayers to fund us a new stadium."

It is because they are America's team.... lol
Not quite. I live in Texas and I despise them. I have to listen to Dallas Cowgirl crap ad naseum around here.

FTR, they never lose. The referees always cheat them.

lol. a lot of schools have the city or even state pay for stadium renovations. Which is why I know my brother loves the fact that in an expensive city like Austin, UT paid everything out of their pocket, not forcing a percentage city tax to get it done.

Sure they do. Why pay for it yourself when you can get the taxpayers to pick up the tab? Sounds like the gubmint, huh?

Genius. Get the non-fan to pay part od renovation costs. Like the non-fan paying the same cable fees.

guess UT is just different.. they get enough donors to foot the bill. I'm glad I don't live in the Houston city limits.. They tend to pay for the pro teams facilities

2 losing season since '93. 6 winning season 1964-1992. Yeah, and I was a fan every fucking year.

I was making reference to that claim they made in the 1980s and 1990s.

ahhh so we are picking and choosing years huh?

That's just it.
The Big 10 and SEC aren't cherry picking years in making these selections. They went after consolidating winningest bluebloods for anchors.

Notre Dame hasn't claimed a natty since 1988, but here they are the crown jewel of the wish lists.
