Major CFB Moments

I don’t like this. Feels like we’re on the wrong end of too many of these.
Here is the only game I personally attended that was one to remember. I was the only one in my family (my brother had a tailgating spot a few blocks away) to actually go into the game. It was a cold night game and 5-4 Iowa was not expecting to do much against 9-0 Michigan. I figured I wouldn't want to do "What if?" if I didn't attend.

I sat near Michigan fans and there was one who kept standing up and laughing throughout the game, saying, "You guys gave this coach a contract extension?" or something like that. He didn't say much that 4th quarter.

Here is a list I have come up with so far...

Another gigantic date for College Football

July 30th, 2021

Oklahoma accepts the offer to move to the SEC, thus ushering in the era of the 'Super Conference'
Changing the game forever

Pitt’s fluke win over WVU in 2007 is the watershed moment in modern cfb history.

Biggest choke in CFB history IYAM.

2003 UF vs FSU. Known as "The Swindle in the Swamp" and led to instant replay in CFB due to one of the worst officiated games of all time with lopsided bad calls regarding ball possession. Quite a turning point in college football.

Funny enough, the semenholes consider it one of their best games of all times. Bunch idiot clowns in Tallahassee. @SJ76 come in here and defend yourself!

Another where I remember where I was, watching near South Bend IN with a house full of ND fans (which nearly came off the foundation during that run back) . I Could not believe that Michigan kicked to him again in those conditions and that kind of game.. Should have fired someone right after the game.

October 31st, 1959

Nebraska beat Oklahoma ending 3 streaks.

1. It was the first Conference game Oklahoma lost in 75 Conference games. Yes, that's 14 years.
2. Oklahoma set a record for most Consecutive Conference Championships in College Football History at 14 in a Row
3. It snapped a 16 game win streak vs. Nebraska

Bo was an arrogant son of a bitch. Sure, let’s kick it to one of the all time most dangerous return men not once, but twice.

The game that allowed that old drunk Bear Bryant to :rip:
