We don’t play that shit up in these parts. Smoked, while lightly sauced, at most. Or your own sauce on later.
 
BBQ is pork, so Texas is out. And thick, sweet sauce is for kids, so KC is out.

I like all the Carolina styles

To me, the North Carolina vinegar guys are like the Chicago deep-dish guys.

Listem, we get it. It's good, just don't try to convince us it's better than NYC pizza or Texas/KC BBQ.
 
There's a few different styles in the Carolinas. Personally, my favorite is the mustard based sauce you find there, and I'm generally not a fan of mustard.

All good, but a pork tenderloin done properly can’t be beat. Gotta coat it in pineapple slices
