lol I never said he was leaning towards anyone.. I thought it was the worst shock the nation announcement ever. Seemed to only rile up michigan st fans from the screenshots that were posted on surly/twitter.

I would think he would be a high probable flip, but his mom is moving to Houston in early '23 and he is also an EE. So he really may be set going to UT..

I probably didn't word it well ... it's not that he might be flipped, you need to check into why everyone backed off of him. When Miami decides they don't want a guy you have to wonder. This isn't Miami sour grapes - I'm not carrying their water, not a fan - and certainly not Dawg tears, we weren't in on him. Just telling you what I am reading.

Yeah.. i honestly don't know what to make of it since he wasn't even on our radar (fans following recruiting). I thought they were set, but let's see what happens in the future.. I'm really high on the class that was just signed.. If Texas can get at least two of these 5 currently committed to pan out..I'll be happy.. (looking at Chatman and Goosby)

Now on to seeing who Baxter chooses on August 10th (on3 #1 RB)
 
Our defensive recruiting is super wishy washy right now. One of our DBs (Dijon Johnson) is looking like hes gonna flip to Florida and we lost out on Tackett Curtis & are going to lose out on John Walker who both seemed penciled into this class like a month ago.

Really need to show out this year to put to rest any uncertainty with the new staff.

Man Orangebloods is melting down....

All we’ve heard the last couple days is how great of a weekend OU and A&M had and it didn’t seem like we made much ground at all at our pool party. What are they doing differently than we are at their pool parties? Yes, we got Arch and there was a definite boom behind that, but other than that it seems a little slow. OU’s rumored to be landing 5 more national recruits just from this weekend and A&M landed 2 top 100 kids. As a whole we recognize that Arch is doing the majority of our recruiting, and I love that from him, but I would like to see our coaches actually close some deals also. OU is positioning themself for the SEC, A&M is already positioned for the SEC, and we’re letting a QB recruit some of his buddies and calling that a class that’s setting us up for future success. Still have a lot of belief in Sark, but just want the momentum to get going again before the Bama game.

Here you go. Four star OT pulled over the weekend at the BBQ that happened yesterday.


You guessed to, 1 down there and that's one completely off the radar. According to the 247 class calculator, adding him will bring our team score to 196.56, which will be right above MSU at 27.

This is a nice get. It was unexpected. I'd still probably guess only two more 4 stars, but I could be wrong. I'll still stick to my earlier guess of Michigan finishing between 20-25 in the rankings. Might sneak into the top 20, though. We'll see.

This get should put us either in, or almost in, that range (20-25).

Put it this way, two more 4 star recruits put us at 8 total in the class. The lowest a team ranked with 8+ four star recruits last year was 21. And at this point if we do swing and get a five star we're chasing, that would instantly put us as a lock in the top 20. Right now with a few more four star kids I think we'll land right where I thought we would, somewhere around 17/18ish. IF we get amore than a couple more four stars, top 15 is totally realistic.

This got you to 27 in 247Sports. I don't think you'll get a 5 star, but could be wrong about that. If you do, you're a lock for top 20. It'll be interesting to see if this carried any momentum.

I think even if we add another 4 four star recruits, we'll probably land inside the top 20 with 10.
 
Alright now i'm starting to worry that something internal is going on.

Lockwood was our first commit for 2023 and a "leader" of the class. Gets a offer from Bama and decommits

With top 100 DB Dijon Johnson Decomitting over the weekend (heading to Florida) as well.
