I’ve never seen Hooper and the Longest Yard was pretty good, but Smokey and the Bandit is the best movie of all time and really carries the trio

Worst take I've ever seen posted here.

Hobbit movies were God awful but the LotR movies are so above and beyond any other trilogy made. They are all 3 some of the best movies ever made.

I see Hal Needham directing Smokey and Hooper. Robert Aldrich directed the Longest Yard.

I know of nothing between Manhunter and Mohicans.

So 86, 92, 95.

Theif was before those 3 and TV movies don't count.
 
Heat has some 10/10 scenes, but it’s overall not a top notch movie.
Manhunter is a cult movie; not top notch though.
