Can't say I ever hear about Nebraska's 1997 title except around these parts, where Nebraska fans sure seem butthurt. Probably because they know their title is invalid, where we are confident in ours. It's clear they wouldn't have even received theirs if their coach wasn't retiring. They're basically UCF.
