The PAC-10 is winning

Pac12 football is something you turn on to fall asleep to at night. Half their viewers are probably people asleep on the couch who forgot to turn on the sleep timer.
Not for weirdo’s like me.
Was up at 2 ish AM EST in the southern West By God Virginia hills watching a UCLA vs San Jose State tilt with baited breath when I realized that I probably had a problem..

Never sought help

So you'll be up to start and finish the Hawaii vs Vanderbilt game on August 27 that starts at 10:30 PM EST?

Move to the left coast. It'll only be 11:00 when you are watching such. But, you'll have to start at 9:00 am local time on Saturdays.

See, you don't need help. Just relocation.

But I'm not sure which is worse. The culture in the southwestern hills of West By God Virginia or the culture of the left coast. What's option C?

Yes, and no not a fan of either, same as the other situation. Just a man and his obsession.

ESPN bumped the college football primetime game down to ESPN2 for tennis. Women's tennis. All hail the all powerful college football promoter that is ESPN

I love CFB as much as the next person, but it's Serena Williams. I get it.

Pac 12 will get billed below the WNBA and Regular Season College Volleyball.

Nice try, but as much slack the conference takes, it's still the up for grabs for the 3rd best football conference after the Big Ten and SEC.

ACC has Clemson and really no one else. Historically Miami and FSU, but those have been so poor for so long that they are becoming irrelevant.

PAC was USC which will be good this year, Oregon which has been a force, and Utah. All that and the fact that teams like Washington, ASU, and UCLA has shown brief moments of brilliance.

I do believe that Florida State has won a natty more recently that any PAC 12 team. Even Pitt and Wake Forest have had moments of brilliance. Do I think the ACC is great? Not a bit. But saying that the Noles have become irrelevant, and they have won a national title almost a decade after any PAC 12 team, what is that saying how irrelevant the PAC 12 is?

I'm going to assume that FSU and Da U will still draw much more TV eyes than Utah

Well no doubt on any given Saturday. But when the New Years bowls come around and Utah is still playing, while FSU and UM still at home, then that'll still count for something.

Theres 12 regular season games compared to 1 bowl game.

They are going to take the team that gets the eyes 12 times over the team that gets them 1 time a year.

Bro, OP just needs to take the L and camp out for a bit in the Big 12 until the next wave of expansion.

It's been almost 10 years since FSU won the national championship, but they have completely been awful since. UM hasn't done much since the early 2000s.

No doubt the PAC has struggled on the national stage, but USC is up there with the teams that will always be relevant. Oregon has been good, as has Utah, and even Washington. One of the main issues with the PAC currently is the leadership, which has been a joke for years now. I have faith that USC in a year or two will be a playoff contender, and maybe even make some noise this year.

If you are just looking at National Championships, then it's rather bleak unless you are Ohio State, Clemson, or one of the SEC big boys.

It'll be interesting to see how Miami is with Mario there. I actually like him a lot and have faith that he may give them a good chance to get solid players and some discipline and make some noise.

We shall see, but I think it's fair to say that as it currently stands, the gap between ACC and PAC is narrow, with it being so top heavy and then some absolute duds.

Oh, I understand. I'm just saying that Utah and co are doing as good as they can to get that recognition nationally. Part of the issue as well is simply the time difference. I doubt a ton of West Coast teams do as good as their East Coast counterparts as the later games are very late for the East Coast and thus they lose that market. College and Pro sports included.
