GAME Northwestern vs. Nebraska(-12.5) -- 12:30 | FOX

We'll get a coach who sleeps with recruits and fails at every big game, one of these days I'm sure.
Come on now -- we all know that is never happening. You'd have to actually play in the big game to fail at it. Pssssssst -- it isn't the 90's anymore.

Unless CFB changes the way recruiting is done -- the days of Nebraska playing in "big games" are over. They have a less than zero % chance to recruit like the elite programs. I've said it for years. Nebraska fans need to forget about playing 'big games' and lower their standards to simply being competitive with Iowa and Wisconsin.

Lol. Dude calls the worst onside kick call of all-time and still throws assistants under the bus. What an arrogant prick.

Wait, you mean the same offense that gave you an 11 point lead when you decided the dumbest play ever... Frost, you are a fucking moron.

Lol it's funny when people from Michigan think there's any recruiting advantages over Nebraska....cuz Michigan's weather is sooo much better 😂

You're dumb.

Coaching is all we need, the rest will fall in place especially with nil.

Y'all still haven't done anything impressive in more than 50 years so keep trying to look down your nose plowing snow out of your sidewalk

"we just need the coach"

Bahaha!!!

Nebraska is the best 0-1 team in the country.

Hate to harp on it, but I said it years ago...........😁
There should be a way to to auto update that number like they do with those days since on the job accident signs.

holy shit, been flying all day and just saw the score
80S Ok GIF

Weather? You think it has to do with weather? :pound:

You have ZERO IN STATE TALENT. You have ZERO TALENT IN SURROUNDING STATES. You now play your games in the Midwest, so those SW kids you used to get because you used to played league games in the SW are much harder to sign. If a kid wants to play in the Midwest, Nebraska is down the list of schools they'd choose (Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, etc.). You have no national rival anymore. You have local rivalries, but nothing anyone nationally cares about.

Weather:facepalm:

Just a little hint -- the top coaches -- they aren't coming to Nebraska. Why? Because they don't have the in state talent like Georgia, like Alabama, like Ohio State, like LSU, etc. etc. etc. That gives those schools elite recruits, every year from their own back yard, who grew up huge fans of the program, those recruits turn into extra recruiters for the programs. It isn't rocket science.

Only reason Michigan can out recruit Nebraska is they can sell their academics to go along with the football. That's why they got Rashan Gary, that's why they got Jabril Peppers, that's why they got Daxton Hill, etc. -- UM has elite academics. Nebraska has nothing that separates them from any other school, ESPECIALLY in the B1G, where so many of the programs have great academics.

Weather is the least of Nebraska's worries.

Bla bla bla, your not that special but you think you are.

Coaching will make the difference between an onside kick up 11 points and not just to name something

Michigan isn't in a much better spot. We won't ever recruit like the top 3-4 teams either. Why? We don't have 5 star recruits every year in state to recruit. The vast majority of 5 star guys we get is because of academics.

I'm not delusional though -- Nebraska fans truly think they are a coach away from being nationally elite again. I've been saying this since Nebraska came over to the B1G. It couldn't have been a worse move for the football program. Recruiting, which was already difficult, is much harder because now you play in the Midwest. You lost your national rivals. You now play in the "other division" of the B1G that has none of the top 3 teams.

I think Nebraska could become competitive each year in the B1G West, but nationally elite isn't happening, unless Warren Buffett decides he wants to hand you a blank check to buy an endless supply of recruiting classes.

Well another close loss
