Yea, OL was very disappointing in the running game. I thought they did really well in the passing game. Casey started missing throws he was making early and need WRs to step up and make plays. Both INTs weren't on him imo.

Problem is, with that crappy running game, that is where the option would really open things up. Look at Logan's one play. I felt like they needed more of that. Or Casey to keep it on a few read options even if he only went a few yards and slid. WR screen seemed to work the few times they ran it, I don't understand why they don't come back to something like that more often. I know you have a hundred plays but sometimes you just gotta run a play until the defense stops it or you run some other action off it that tricks the D.

DL wasn't there. Nelson, Mathis, Tannor had no impact on the game at all.

THEE Thing is it doesn’t surprise me anymore and I am not upset just apathetic to this repeating cluster. I actually admire Fitz for not doing stupid shit today and for preparing his team to kick ass.

As I said a day ago, Frost has been given the tools to win but it doesn’t seem to matter to him because that ill timed timeout and a bonehead onside kick proves Frost is fighting against that which is meant to help him.

When the AD said he was anxious to see the special teams play and wanted to see improvement, Frost screwed it up.You have to wonder if Frost is pissed that he had to fire his buddies after last year? Seems like it to me.

Someone on the radio said it perfectly last night. The way to beat Nebraska is to just wait for Nebraska to fuck up.
 
As soon as Frost’s buyout drops after October 1st, fire him.
 
I missed the first half yesterday so rewatching it, there’s a play on a kickoff after NW scored and our lead blocker, think it’s Weinmaster, for the return man, Palmer, completely whiffs on his block and Palmer gets tackled immediately.

Like that’s basic fundamental shit. You have one job.

The question now is how much more time I invest in this program this year.

I've got plenty of chores I can do on Saturday afternoons. However, I'm a general CFB fan so I'll likely be in front of the tube all day.
I'd actually go to a Saturday wedding at this point.

I do know I wouldn't accept 50 yd line tickets for free right now. The boo birds will likely be out in force going forward.

I've bought absolutely ZERO Husker apparel for 18 months now with no plans to anytime soon.

We're in the same boat for husker apparel and tv Saturdays I had to tell my wife multiple times over the last year plus that until they earn it I'm not buying any new merchandise. I sat around Saturday when I have plenty of stuff I want to get done before winter looking like I'll be getting more done too

Same. I'm out. I don't have that many seasons left in me. I'm certainly not going to waste my fall Saturdays watching that shit over and over. I will just hop on one of the motorcycles and go for a long ride. I'll check the score. If they win, maybe I'll watch the "Football in 60" version.
I'm not that surprised in the outcome of the game tho. Disappointed, yes.

At this point I don’t think free beer at Memorial stadium could keep the Husker fans from walking out during a poorly played home game. I watch CFB all day on Saturdays and I guess it’s just to see good football being played by other teams. It still blows me away that Fulmer, Brown, & Miles got fired for bad performance after winning the Natty.

Frost was reluctant to come here twice now so perhaps he needs to be sent back to UCF to put Nattys together there. Besides Larry the Cable Guy is pissed at Frost for trying to put his own selfish mark on the game Saturday.
