Vegas has it as a one score game. You have a shiny new QB and OC and it's a week 1 rivalry game. You can try and mentally prepare for a 3 score loss, but they replaced their all world QB with the guy who was supposed to be your QB's long term backup. And a big reason their guy was all world was because he had an all world WR who if you believe in multiverse theory either QB is now throwing passes to in an alternate reality because he went to the place both of them left.

Tldr:college football has some weird shit going on right now and anything can happen. Just enjoy the ride and hope for the best.

Both offensive lines are completely back. But their dline and d as a whole returns a lot and is much better then ours. Time will tell but I don’t see this being close sadly.

Hate to break it to Nebraska fans, but the only "title" they will have a chance at sniffing in today's CFB is the B1G West title. I know many Nebraska fans are grasping at the last straw of somehow being elite in the current landscape of college football, but that is a pipe dream.

At some point they will finally realize what i've said for so many years now is a fact. Leaving the Big 12, while great for the school financially, killed their football program. Their conference footprint is now the Midwest. They no longer have a national rival. No elite coach is coming to Nebraska where they have zero in state talent and zero talent in surrounding states.

Nebraska's best chance to become elite again is if CFB goes to a NFL style draft for recruiting. If recruiting stays the same -- they are never competing with the top programs.

Their recruiting classes haven't changed one bit since NIL. They have signed exactly one top 100 recruit since NIL started and it was a white TE from Iowa. They have signed 1 top 200 recruit. They have signed zero 5 star recruits. Or are they only spending NIL on the players who were backups on their original teams and they come to Nebraska in the portal? Hell -- Texas A&M bought an entire class. Nebraska hasn't changed at all, but in your eyes, they compete with anyone with NIL.
