LOL, at Iowa's offense...I wish they had missed the field goal so the defense could have won the game 4-3.

He followed that up with a missed field goal...better take away his belt and shoe laces.East Carolina for the missed extra point. Someone needs to put that kicker on suicide watch.
Even if on Offense, it's not better than Leinhart, Bush, and co. There is no way.
We'll see. Pete Carroll's teams did take week in and week out.It looks to be Pete Carroll era talent on offense, but I don't think it's as deep as those teams were. Definitely looks like they have Pete Carroll era speed.
Neat. Today isn't one of the examples to speak of. It's fucking FCS man.
Your team came out with a W and that's about it. Take it and hope they find answers fast for the offense or it's going to be a long season in conference. Good D or not.

This team has done it once. I find it hard to think this team is anywhere close to those Pete Carroll teams.
Maybe we are getting a little ahead of ourselves. It was Rice.
It was Rice. We looked awesome against Ball State... 1990s Tennessee all over again? Nope.
lol
And? At what point has anyone said that this team is as good as any of those?
Looks like some folks are trying to feed a narrative.
You were talking about Pete Carroll talent. To ne honest, I shouldn't have brought this up. You are excited about your team a s USC does look better already.
Yeah... MY thoughts exactly. IF they can't get by The TREES, it's likely gonna be a long, LONG season...That's because that's the kind of talent they have. That doesn't mean they're as good and I haven't said they are.
The only thing they accomplished was beating a team like Rice the way they should beat a team like Rice if they want to be considered a top team. The difference is, they hadn't been doing that under Helton.
They have a lot of work to do before that kind of comparison can even be considered, let alone seriously talked about.
I know what I have been watching for the past several years and what I saw Saturday looked different. Of course, that could all change if they shit the bed vs. Stanford.
