Georgia Southern opened with a 59-7 win over Morgan St.
Georgia Southern led Morgan St 17-7 at half and 31-7 at the end of the 4rd Q.

Nebraska managed a 21 pt win against their FCS opponent.
They were tied 7-7 at half.
They were tied at 17-17 with 2:30 remaining in the 3rd Q when Nebraska went up 24-17.
Nebraska scored the remaining 14 pts in the 4th Q.

It could be said that it took Nebraska's lines until the 4th Q to wear down North Dakota's FCS lines.

Getting the tackling to improve would go a long way in getting and maintaining a lead.
Without looking, I would bet that every opponent scoring drive, so far, could have been stopped at some point by simply making the tackle on one or more third down plays in the drive. (sounds kinda "duh")
There were many plays that had contact behind the line, with no wrapping up.

It took Nebraska a while to put Buffalo away last year.

0-0 at the end of the 1st Q
14-0 Huskers at half
14-3 at the end of the 3rd Q
Finally scored 14 more in the 4th Q to win 28-3.

What I'm seeing against these FCS and G5 teams is that their lines are as good as Nebraska's, but they don't quite have the depth and they finally wear out late.

That is why Nebraska is at the bottom of the Big 10 West division year after year. When it comes to P5 on P5 it's Nebraska's lines that wear down.

It showed once again against Northwestern in the opener.
