You do realize Detroit is about 45 minutes away from Ann Arbor. And from your comment, I can tell you have never been to Detroit. There is a reason it has held a Super Bowl, a MLB All-Star game, etc. in the last 15-20 years, and they are on the short list of cities to host a NFL draft. The Downtown area of Detroit is beautiful and you can't end up in a bad part of Detroit unless you are trying to go there.
